Out-of-Work List

If we miss your call, please leave a message for Michele stating your name, the last 4 numbers of your SSN, the phone number, that you want to get on the out-of-work list, and any skill and certification updates* (if you do not have any updates, please state “no updates” in your message).

All information must be clearly stated in the voicemail. If not, we cannot put you on the out-of-work list without speaking with you first. This can possibly delay your position on the list if you don’t answer when we call you back. If all the information is in the voicemail, you will be put on the out-of-work list and get a text message with your number on the list.

*Your current list of skills and certifications can be found by clicking HERE. If you are already on the out-of-work list, you will see your number on the list. If you start working on a job and have been there for more than 5 days, you must call the hall to let us know.

Members working below wages or against Union rules will be fined not less than $20 nor more than $100, expelled, or both.

We do an out-of-work list re-registration every three (3) months to ensure that everyone on the list is ready, willing, and able to work. You will receive text messages asking you to re-register (which means you must confirm that you are ready, willing, and able to work or you must notify us that you are currently working) before the end of the re-registration period.

If you call to re-register and we miss your call, you must leave a voicemail for Michele stating your name, the last four (4) digits of your SSN, and that you are ready, willing, and able to work or that you are currently working. You will receive a text message within one (1) business day to confirm that we received your re-registration. If we do not receive your confirmation before the end of the registration period, you will be removed from the out-of-work list.

Cement & Concrete Workers’ Local 20 is not your employer. You are employed by our signatory contractors. We cannot provide employment verification or work history.
